The stronger dollar pushed the euro below $1.15, close to its weakest level since late July.

Gold held near $4,350 after gaining almost 2% in the previous session. Falling oil prices eased inflation pressure and pulled bond yields lower, giving bullion room to recover despite the Fed’s tighter stance.

Brent fell toward $104, extending losses for a third straight session, as fears of Middle East supply disruptions eased. Growing hopes for diplomatic progress and the restoration of energy flows have taken some pressure out of crude.
