PCE data and Warsh’s Jackson Hole speech are next.

The Dollar Index steadied near 99 as new US measures targeting Iran supported safe-haven demand, but stayed near three-month lows as Treasury buybacks revived US debt concerns.

Japan’s 10-year yield rose to 2.89%, with an 80% chance of a September hike to 1.25%. Former BOJ member Adachi expects hikes next month and in January, while fiscal 2027 debt-cost assumptions could rise to 3.8%.

US futures were flat before Nvidia’s Wednesday earnings, alongside Intuit, Zoom, Semtech, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Macy’s.
