US inflation showed further signs of cooling in July 2026, although price pressures remained above the Federal Reserve's target. Consumer prices increased 0.1% month-on-month, following a 0.4% decline in June, while annual inflation eased to 3.4% from 3.5%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The 10-year Treasury yield eased to around 4.68% as attention shifted to producer inflation.
